Part-Time Administrative Assistant (seasonal)

Snyder Cohn is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant (AA) to provide administrative support to division teams through the 2021 tax season. The seasonal AA provides tax season support, such as scanning and assembling of tax returns, as well as assisting with special administrative projects as necessary. Due to the nature of the position, the job duties must be performed on-site (no remote option available).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble tax returns
  • Perform scanning for all divisions
  • Mailings (both electronic and paper)
  • Extension assistance
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, to include drafting and finalizing correspondence as necessary
  • Respond to client requests for documents, returns, K-1’s, etc., to include researching issues and sending copies as appropriate
  • Copying and scanning projects as needed
  • Prepare packages for mail and delivery
  • Coordinate special projects with partners and associates as appropriate
  • Serve as back up receptionist, as needed


  • 1+ years of comparable work experience (prior experience in public accounting a plus)
  • Strong customer service skills and high level of professionalism
  • Ability to communicate well both in writing and verbally
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe) and the ability to learn new software packages
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, resourceful, adaptable to changing circumstances and deadlines, and organized with excellent follow-through skills
  • 24-30 hours/week, including Saturdays
