Snyder Cohn, one of the area’s most reputable certified public accounting and business advisory firms, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support Partners and divisional teams. Support includes serving as back-up to drafting and finalizing correspondence, financial statements and engagement letters, as well as providing seasonal and tax support, including scanning and assembly of tax returns, assisting with CPE (continuing education) program coordination and special projects as assigned.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, including serving as back-up to financial statements and client engagement letters;
- Provide tax season support as required, to include scanning and assembling tax returns.
- Assist with processing monthly billing and invoicing; respond to client billing questions as appropriate;
- Coordinate the CPE continuing education program;
- Respond to client requests for documents, tax returns, K-1s, etc., to include researching issues and sending copies as needed;
- Assist with copying, scanning, mailing and shipping projects;
- Serve as back-up receptionist;
- As a member of the Administrative Team, provide back-up support as needed;
- Coordinate and complete special projects for Partners and associates;
- Provide conference support (meetings, meals, supplies, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience supporting multiple professionals in a fast-paced environment (preferably an accounting or law firm);
- Strong technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management software required;
- Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism as this position will have client contact as well as contact with all levels of internal and external personnel;
- Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task with strong organizational skills and follow-through;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work 30 – 40 hours/week (including some weekends).
